"Oh Captain, my Captain!"

Nope, I am not going to post about Walt Whitman's poem "Leaves of Grass". This citation start was just a joke to make a tribute to THE MOST OPTIMISTIC MAN ON EARTH, with whom I had the pleasure to have dinner with yesterday.

One thing is for sure: The next time someone comes to me and starts complaining about life, I will just tell them "Shut up and go have dinner with Captain Mike A."

I don't know if that is a consequence of his Armenian blood line (survival genes by history) or of the too many hours spent high up in the skies, but believe me: After the experience of watching him draw (on a table paper towel!) and explain his amazing "optimism theory" statistics, you will never complain about anything again and will leave the restaurant with a broad smile on your face and feeling the luckiest person in the whole world! :-D

Thanks for a wonderful evening and fly safe, Captain! ;-)

Nice to see "my" B747 photo and the post is also interesting.

And I agree the best way to deal with day-by-day life is to always have an optimistic look. It costs the same and the results are better...

    Amiga, saudades tuas!
    abraço
